Temp to Hire Senior Accountant

Compensation: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour

Position Overview:
The Senior Accountant will be temp to hire and will play a key role in managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the transition to a new ERP platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support the implementation of a new ERP system, including data migration and process documentation.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the distribution or manufacturing industry.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior involvement in ERP system implementation or upgrades.
